Mr. Rehmer's journey in education started with Brevard Public Schools in 2006. Over the past 18 years with BPS, he has been privileged to serve in a variety of instructional and administrative roles. As an instructor, he was a science teacher with a passion for inspiring students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the world around them. He completed his Master’s in Educational Leadership from Stetson University, then transitioned into administration.

As a school-based administrator, he was an Assistant Principal/Dean at Melbourne High School, the Assistant Principal for Curriculum at DeLaura Middle School, and Principal at Merritt Island High School. As an administrator, he strived to bring a passion for education that enhanced the campus and student opportunity/experience. After five years at Merritt Island High School, he was promoted to Chief of Schools for the county. Mr. Rehmer is honored to be a part of the Brevard family. He is excited to work alongside such an amazing group of educators and leaders in Brevard Public Schools.
